The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth traffic flow, efficient parking operations, and excellent customer service during our events. 

  •  Parking Management: 
    •  Oversee the parking areas and ensure efficient use of space. 
    •  Direct vehicles to appropriate parking spots and maintain organized parking   arrangements.
      Monitor parking facilities to prevent overcrowding and ensure safety. 
    •  Implement parking policies and procedures to optimize space and improve traffic flow. 
  •  Transportation Services
    •  Coordinate shuttle services and other transportation options for event attendees. 
    •  Work with transportation vendors to schedule and manage shuttle routes and timings. 
    • Provide information to guests regarding available transportation services and schedules. 
    •  Ensure the timely and safe arrival of attendees using various transportation methods. 
  •  Customer Service: 
    •  Assist guests with parking-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service. 
    •  Handle guest complaints and issues related to parking and transportation promptly and professionally. 
    •  Offer guidance and assistance to attendees, enhancing their overall experience at the venue. 
  •  Traffic Control and Safety: 
    •  Manage traffic flow before and after events to minimize congestion and ensure safety. 
    •  Collaborate with local law enforcement and traffic management authorities to coordinate traffic control efforts. 
    •  Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of attendees and staff. 
  •  Reporting and Documentation: 
    •  Maintain accurate records of parking attendance, revenue, and transportation usage. 
    •  Generate regular reports detailing parking and transportation statistics. 
    • Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred. 
  • Previous experience in parking management, transportation coordination, or a related field is desirable. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Traffic Control / Attendant ​

  • Experience with festival / event transportation and ingress/egress operations 
  • Responsible for the efficient direction of festival goer vehicles in and out of the Poconos Park parking lot. 
  • Guide guests’ vehicles into the appropriate lane/spot under the direction of our Parking Manager, direct them to the proper exit upon departure and keep cars off of restricted roads.

Site/Facilities Manager

Seeking Long Term Fit

  1. Manage Poconos Park, Mama Bears and sister facilities including but not limited to grounds, buildings and event or festival site build. 
  2. Direct and lead the Poconos Park facility and site full or part time staff, vendors, contractors and more as it relates to the grounds, buildings and event or festival site. 
  3. Maintain and manage service of owned or rented site assets, equipment and fleet of vehicles, trailers and more. 
  4. Support and work directly with CEO and Management Team, Director of Operations, Main Stage/Festival Production Manager, Event Director, Special Event Rentals, General Contractors, Accounting/Business Manager, General Counsel and other team members. 
  • Grounds Maintenance including landscaping, mowing, plowing, etc 
  • Facility & Site Asset Management: inventory, organization, maintenance, set-up, etc

  • Coordinate and manage contractors, vendors and others as as they arrive and work on site

Lake House Venue Assistant

Seeking Long Term Fit

  • Perform general maintenance, including cleaning the Lake House venue’s kitchen and common areas. 
  • Support lawn maintenance and enhance property aesthetics.

Guest Services

Seeking Long Term Fit

Poconos is seeking a Guest Services Ambassador. The Guest Ambassador will positively interact with guests to provide information and assistance on all things related to the guest having an enjoyable experience.

  • Communicate venue information about policies and procedures to guests as they prepare to enter the venue.
  • Look for ways to proactively assist the guest to ensure they have an enjoyable
    experience.
  • Answer questions about common venue programs such as upgrades, purchasing fan merchandise, etc.
  • Assist guests with needs such as finding their seats, seat relocation, escorting guests to artist meet & greets and finding lost items.
  • Direct restroom and concessions lines, as needed, to shorten guest waiting times.
  • Assist in resolving guest complaints.
  • Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
  • Report maintenance and cleaning issues to the respective department manager in a timely manner.
  • May fill in temporarily with a department to support staffing levels during peak or break times.
  • Greet guests as they enter and leave the venue. May also distribute advertising flyers.


Check restrooms frequently to make sure guests’ lines are moving and alerting the cleaning when necessary.

Production Assistant

Seeking Long Term Fit

A Production Assistant, or Production Crew Assistant, serves in a live music venue assisting the Production Manager and crew. Their main duties include relaying messages between crew members and running errands for Production. Punctuality, professionalism, and knowledge of music-industry terminology are greatly preferred. Our ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter with a keen attention to detail and great listening skills. Production assistants may work in our production office, or on stage assisting crew as needed.

  • Support all areas of production before, during, and after events

  • Coordinate technical & other aspects of production with touring and house production team.

  • May make quick drives to buy or deliver items for touring and house production as needed.

Runner

A runner assists in fulfilling the needs of the production department and most commonly includes running errands under the direction of the venue or tour production manager.

  • Display a professional and personable attitude with touring and venue personnel.
  • Deliver and retrieve items from local stores, vendors, airports, hotels, laundry
  • Provide local area information to touring personnel.
  • Maintain cash and receipts throughout the day.
  • Provide transportation for personnel throughout the show day (may be personal vehicle or large van/cargo van)

 

This position may require travel to various venues in the local area. 

  • Candidates considered for this position will undergo thorough background and driving record checks.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license, operational cell phone and reliable transportation.

Stagehand

Seeking Long Term

FitStagehands and crew members – the in-house version of a Roadie – are an essential part of live music and festival events. They set up equipment needed for live performances and festivals.

  • Responsible for hanging show banners, updating marquees and other signage in the venue
  • Assist lighting & Audio crew as directed by Stage Manager or PM; Spotlight operation if required
  • Maintenance and Repair of Sound, Light and Stage Equipment
  • Maintain and secure House Backline, and supplies
  • Maintain curtains, drapes, risers and other staging items
  • Assist audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
  • Assist lighting crew with fixtures, lambs, gels, cabling, etc.
  • Operate and care for stage areas in a safe, clean manner
  • Assist with any Special Events operations
  • Ensure stage trash is taken out; stage swept or set up for next show when possible
  • Lifting and carrying equipment – may need to regularly lift items over 25lbs
  • Using special equipment such as fork lift trucks, pallet jacks, and more
  • Tearing down the event/show equipment after the event
  • May include long hours on nights and weekends

Operations Intern

The Operations Intern is responsible for supporting the Operations team in the planning, analysis and execution of concerts throughout the year. In this unique role the individual will have the opportunity to learn about operations supporting multiple teams in a variety of different tasks. This role requires someone who is proactive, highly detailed, organized, self-starter and capable of multi-tasking under tight deadlines.

  • Understand Venue Operations in both large scale and smaller scale venues
  • Understand standard operating procedures and procurement for event production
  • Build tactile onsite event skills from events, understand the importance of Operations & key stakeholders to Poconos Park
  • Develop knowledge of the administrative tools required to organize the back-end systems required to run the Operations business within a venue.
  • Provide support specific to the Venue Operations, present in Poconos Park office.
  • Assist the team with best-in-class service and execution which includes but is not limited to sales cycle, administrative support, calendar management, tracking deliverables and meeting needs.

Scare Actor “Monster”

October – Dates TBD – Two weekends in October

Do you love horror movies? Haunted houses? Spooky things? Hiding in dark corners and scaring your friends and family? Well, have we got a job for you! If you’re DYING for a great job, you’ll love this one. We are seeing high-energy, outgoing performers for the scariest role at Poconos Park. You’ll be entertaining our guests as they stroll through the Haunted House. You will be provided with a costume and mask or makeup and must wear what is scripted for your specific role. 

  • Scaring the human guests who dare enter our Playhouse of Horror
  • Maintain your position in your assigned Scare Zone within the Haunted House
  • Giving the guests a great experience (and maybe nightmares!)
  • Working all days of the haunt, including a training day prior to event opening
  • Interact with all guests coming through your zone
  • Maintain professional standards and safety
  • Keep your scare zone clean and free from obstructions 
  • Take direction from Lead Actors and Management
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • May be asked to walk, kneel, or crouch for extended periods
  • Lights may include strobe or flashing lights
  • Haunted house has loud music and theatrical fog/smoke effects

    • c. Monitor safety operations on site. 
    • d. Implement procedures to optimize and improve the experience and event road map.

    • f. Handle electrical / power needs.
